Kalaakaar Makerspace operates the website https://kalaakaar.in. This Shipping & Refund Policy outlines our shipping procedures, delivery expectations, warranty information, and return/refund guidelines.
Shipping Policies
To ensure that your order reaches you in the fastest time and in good condition, we only ship through reputed courier agencies.
While we shall strive to ship all items in your order together, this may not always be possible due to product characteristics or availability. However, we will inform you before doing so.
If you believe that the product is not in good condition, or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged:
- Before accepting delivery of the goods, please refuse to take delivery of the package
- Immediately contact our Customer Care at 8767727791 or 9404844852, or email sales@kalaakaar.in, mentioning your order reference number
- We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest

Please note: All items (including gifts) will be shipped with an invoice mentioning the price, as per Indian Tax Regulations.
Shipping Partners
We use FedEx, Aramex, and BlueDart to ship our products to your destination (available during checkout and chosen by you).
We can also ship through EMS Speed Post on special request to remote locations if you feel our primary shipping partners don’t have coverage or have served you improperly. However, we cannot guarantee compliance with this request. This is because each shipment content is verified by the post office before acceptance. If they determine the item may be damaged, they may refuse the shipment.
Shipping Time / Delivery Time
- We make our best efforts to ship your order on the same day of the order. 99% of our orders are shipped within 24 hours
- We ship on weekdays (Monday to Saturday), excluding public holidays
- Orders placed on Sunday will be shipped only on Monday
- Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 01:30 PM (except Sundays & public holidays). Customers can expect orders to arrive between 3 PM – 10 PM
- Shipments through BlueDart created before 02:00 PM will be picked up the same day. Otherwise, pickup occurs the next day
Delivery Guarantee: While we aim for 2-5 days delivery anywhere in India, this is beyond our control. Shipping companies have their own methods, transit locations, etc., making exact delivery times unpredictable.
Recommendation: Please plan your order allowing sufficient time for delivery instead of placing last-minute orders.
Guarantee/Warranty
All items are delivered with standard manufacturer warranty (unless otherwise specified on the product page) to protect customers from manufacturing defects.
Warranty Process:
- Notify us within the warranty period from the date of shipment for any defective product
- You agree to pay for return shipping on exchanges/returns; we will reimburse this cost upon verification of the defect
- We will replace or repair defective products free of cost with shipping prepaid by us
- If the product is out of stock for replacement, we will issue a 100% refund
Warranty Exclusions: No warranty applies if the product has been subject to:
- Misuse, static discharge, neglect, or accident
- Modification, soldering, or alteration in any way
For products needing exchange:
- Send photos of damaged products to sales@kalaakaar.in
- We will assess the damage and decide the best resolution (exchange/return/refund)
- If the item is not in stock for replacement, we will provide a full refund
100% Refund/Replacement Policy
We guarantee accurate product descriptions and high-quality items as mentioned on our website. To protect customers from:
- Shipping damage
- Item mismatch
- Missing parts
We provide 2 days (from the date of order delivery) to report complaints:
- Raise a ticket from our website by clicking the Support page
- Our technical team will visually verify submitted details and issue an RMA number
- Once we receive the product, our experts will verify the reported issue
- We will send replacement items with shipping prepaid by us
- If the product is out of stock, we will issue a 100% refund
Exclusions: Due to the nature of our products and our strict quality policy, we cannot offer returns without valid reason. Kalaakaar Makerspace reserves the right to take the final decision on all refund requests.
Canceling An Order
To cancel or update an order:
- Request cancellation or address updates by email only to sales@kalaakaar.in
- Customer Service will respond within one business day
- Only orders in “Pending” or “Payment Verification” status can be altered/cancelled
- If your order has moved to a different status, it cannot be altered or cancelled
Cancellation Charges: Order cancellation may attract 5% bank charges depending on the payment method (payment gateways collect commissions even for cancelled orders).
Note: Due to our strict quality policy, we cannot offer order cancellation without valid reason. Kalaakaar Makerspace reserves final decision rights on all cancellation requests.
Return Guidelines
- Once we confirm the faulty item cannot be repaired by you or via Remote Desktop (TeamViewer), we will issue an RMA Number
- Clearly mention the RMA number on shipping boxes
- Do not write anything on the merchandise packaging (product package)
- Defective unused merchandise will be replaced within 2 days of receipt
- All returns must include a copy of the original packing list from your shipment
Limits Of Responsibility
We accept no responsibility for:
- Improper installation of our products
- Electrical polarity must be properly observed when hooking up electrical components
